This slip-on attachment works primarily to distribute load weight over its full length. It is ideal for the lifting of very wide, breakable or flexible loads such as roofing sheets, plasterboards, plywood, plaster tubing, and the like.
The spreader bar is attached and secured to the forklift with a safety chain. Fork spreaders can be designed and built according to your specifications.
